As everyone prepares for the great feast And gets ready to cut into the beast,
It is important to remember Him to say the least.
As we celebrate this day,
We must thank the Lord for our way.
And has been on our side of the spiritual fight,
Even through the darkest night.
Lord, thank you for everything I own,
For I couldn’t have gotten it alone.
I thank you Lord again,
For everything there’s been.
In Your name I thank,
Amen!
I wrote these few lines to remind us that yes, we’re thankful for not only our last year or so, but we are thankful for our spirits being founded on the Lord. On this day, we are thankful, grateful, and blessed that the Lord has chosen us and allowed us to be His followers. I am so thankful that I get to live in a place where I can worship Him. I love that I get to wake up every morning and feel His presence with me. I also love that He has given me so much in my life. Yes, I’ve hardships and triumphs, but I am grateful for every moment because it has made the person I am. As you celebrate this day with friends and family, make sure to give Him thanks above all else. Thank you Lord for everything and I pray for another year to give you all the glory and thanks!
